About The Mauritz:
The Mauritz has been developed and is located on the corner of Mauritskade and Willemstraat. Those namesalready reveal something of the royal history of this location. Right on the other side of the water lies the picturesque Willemspark, once private property of the king. In the evenings and on weekends, the Willemspark still exudes the atmosphere of yesteryear, the days that Couperus and Mesdag walked here and gained inspiration.
The Willemspark has dozens monumental horse chestnuts; a lovely 'front garden' just in front of The Mauritz.
If you walk from The Mauritz into Willemstraat, you will arrive in the cozy Buurtschap 2005.
Here is the atmosphere of the Latin Quarter: terraces, restaurants, cafes, galleries. In the
Frederikstraat and Denneweg you will find excellent specialty shops and it is always pleasant.
It is also wonderful to stroll through the Noordeinde, which is one after the Royal Make Over large walking promenade with many nice addresses.
You can walk straight into the city center of The Hague, with its theaters, theater and versatility shopping offer. And if you still want to leave the city, you can drive in from the Mauritskade a few minutes towards Utrechtsebaan or the A44.
