The apartment also has a separate toilet. Via the internal staircase, the rooftop terrace with roof house is accessible.
AREA
The apartment is conveniently located in the popular Old West. Vondelpark is around the corner, and the center of Amsterdam can be reached on foot or by bike in a very short time. The lively Jan Pieter Heijestraat has many shops and restaurants, as does Kinkerstraat. Public transportation is excellent, and the highway is also easily accessible.
STREET NAME
The street owes its name to the 'overtoom' (portage) on a dam that was constructed in 1515 between the Schinkel and the Kostverlorenwetering. On this busy intersection of water and roads, inns, milk houses, homes, a weekly market, and entertainment emerged.
