LAYOUT
The apartment on the fourth floor is accessible by elevator or stairs. The elevator opens directly into the hallway of the apartment. From the hallway all rooms of the apartment can be reached. At the rear are all three bedrooms, the largest of which has an ensuite bathroom. This bathroom is fitted with a double washbasin with cabinet, a bathtub, a toilet, a bidet and a walk-in shower. The second bathroom has a double washbasin with cabinet, a walk-in shower and a toilet. Next to the second bathroom is the laundry room with a washing machine and dryer. Public transport is excellent, with tram lines 2, 12 and 19 and metro line 52 within walking distance, offering fast connections to Amsterdam Central Station and other parts of the city.
STREET NAME
The Herengracht derives its name from the “Heren Regeerders van de stad Amsterdam”, the regents who governed the city in the 17th century. When the original canal was widened in 1612, it was named Herengracht in honour of these regents.
